In Britain, a "kip" is a nap, a snooze, a good night's sleep. "Fancy a kip?" is about the friendliest question there is. That's where our name comes from: Kipo is simply the place you go to find somewhere good to have a kip.

We started Kipo because booking a stay had stopped feeling friendly. Big platforms take 15% or more from hosts, and those costs end up in the price guests pay. The people who open their homes and run small hotels deserve to keep more of what they earn.

Kipo charges hosts a flat 5%. No tiers, no small print. Lower fees mean hosts can offer better prices, and guests get better stays.
